1) Yes, they will both be run at the same speed
2) They're probably not even running at DDR2-800 speeds anyway unless you've overclocking
3) Windows x86 will only see 3.something GB of it so don't be surprised.
Not really, if it's an Intel 965, 975 or recent nVidia chipset. They're not only very flexible about dual channel mode but will even run 2 sticks in dual channel and 1 in single if you've got three DIMMs. Nothing to worry about.
