I have an an Asus A8N-E that says it Not compatable with Dual Sided X16 Memory chip what does that mean? will this memory I found on eBay Work as I have 2 of these boards and I want to bump each up to 1.5GB of ram

It means modules that use a total of 8 - (M)x16 chips (as opposed to (M)x8 chips). Your board won't support that memory on Ebay, either. For best compatibility, look for 1024MB modules built using 64Mx8 components (16 chips total).
