Memory Question

Is there any reason to buy memory in pairs as opposed to buying each one individually?

Its not a huge difference but if i buy 2 of the single sticks i save myself $6. As long as I have the same type memory in each slot it will still run dual channel right?

Right. There is nothing special about a dual-channel kit other than each stick is identical. Also if installing only (2) sticks, check your MB manual - usually the slots you need to install for dual-channel are the same color.
