I have four, 1GB DDR2-667 240 pin Nanya sticks that I was thinking of using in a new computer build to replace the XP 2500+ Barton system being used now for internet, email and light gaming (Flight Sim 2004, Call of Duty and various kids games). Are these going to be ok or should I look elsewhere? Thanks!

Would likely depend on the CPU+motherboard you're upgrading to, but I would imagine anything even remotely recent is going to use different RAM. And you probably wouldn't want to limit your upgrade to something that still runs DDR2-667 anyway, as it really wouldn't be worth the money.
