I am wondering whether I should spend my money on getting 4 x 1gb of 800mhz ddr2 or 2 x 1gb of 1066 ddr2? I love to play games so this is mainly what I want the performance to help. Can you even notice a difference between 2gb and 4gb at this point? Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

yep, i agree with all of you guys. 2x1GB is definitely the way to go at least until vista comes out and properly recognizes all 4GB and can actually use them beneficially.

Vista Beta 2 already recognizes 4GB of memory, so I hardly doubt anything will change once Vista reaches RTM status.

Even if you were using vista and could use more than 2GB of RAM there's yet to be any games that would make use of it.
