ok guys, I currently have 1GB of ram but I am looking for a bit more for BF2. I really dont think its neccessary to have 2GB but 1.5GB could give me some extra smoothness. I currently have a Gigabyte GA-K8N nforce4 ultra motherboard. It has 4 memory slots, and right now I have two 512mb corsair pc3200 sticks in there. Is it possible for me to have 1.5GB? The manual says I can only have memory in 2 slots or 4 slots. So would I be able to add 2 256mb sticks in, giving me a total of 1.5GB.

Or does each slot need to have a stick with the same amount of memory. Meaning I would have to get 2 more 512mb sticks giving me 2GB?
 
you would be better with 2 gig, i went from 1 gig dual channel to 2 gig dual channel and it made a huge difference in my combat flight sims.....go all the way🙂
