Would you buy that or just ddr400 w/lower latency?

Which would produce better results?

Exactly as the link says a gig of the kingston hyperx for $200...

I'd probably be using this with an Abit or Msi mobo and a 939 amd64 cpu.

I pressume if I wanted to run it @ ddr400 the latency would go down but how far is my question if it would still perform as good or better than original ddr400 ram

Unless you are gonna overclock, there is no reason to buy PC4000 ddr. Stick with the 400mhz, and I wouldn't worry too much about the latency, as it will make very very little differance with an A64.
