My comp is
Antec 1080 AMG case (Replaced stock fans with 4 Y's tech & 1 Thermaltake adjustable one)
p4 2.8C
Zalman Al/Cu cooler (didn't use the fan mate, so it's running full speed)
Asus P4P800
2X256 Mushkin Lvl 1 (232)
9600XT

430Watt true power PSU
1 DVD player & 1 DVD burner
floppy drive
1 slow IDE hdd (2MB buffer) - which will be get a faster sibling in the future.
I'm having a prob with the Doom3 demo. On med res & 800X600 my fps drops to 20. I received an email from Crucial for a discount on their Ballistix memory. The cost between PC3200 & PC4000 is about $8 each on some 512MB sticks. Without OC'ing my fsb will the PC4000 do anything to slow things down? I might start OC'ing the FSB at a later date, which I'm in the process of doing some reading about. If anyone that has a similar setup would share any tips on OC'ing & just general BIOS settings for performance would be appreciated.
