Antec Plus 1000 series 430 Watt
2 sticks corsair ddr2700 512
Windows XP Pro
Barton 2500 @ 2.20gig
Volcano 7
Visiontek 9800 pro
Audigy 2 Platinum
Abit nf7-s
wd 80 gig 8mb cache
cendyne dvd cdrw combo
sony cdrw
21in magic monitor
Leadtek Win2000xp tvfm

Would I gain much by getting DDR3200. It seems to run fine as is on every game but I get rounding errors in Prime95,also does good on 3dmark 01. Or should I up my voltage currently at 1.65. Thanks in Advance...

Bump the Vcore up to see if P95 stabilizes. You are taking a performance penalty if you are running the FSB and ram asynch but the real world impact isn't very noticable, although it looks to be in synthetic benchies like Sandra.

What is your FSB at right now to reach 2.2Ghz on the 2500? if you havent touched your multiplier i'm assuming your FSB is 217? which means your memory is running at 434Mhz. It is only rated for 333Mhz. Post your FSB and multiplier settings. I have the same Mobo and memory but I have the PC3200. my FSB is O/C'd to 200Mhz thus allowing me to run my memory at 400Mhz. But I lowered my multiplier to 10 which gives me 2.0Ghz. I'm not looking to crank on my cpu, I just wanted to run at full FSB for best performance. Plus, I only have stock cooling right now.

Well, you would gain stability, if that's important to you. You're overclocking your memory(by 77 mhz!). You would be quite a bit better off to have some Corsair XMS PC3200, or some Kingston Hyper-X PC3200.

edit: You might be able to get your Corsair PC2700 up to 400 mhz, if you raise the vdimm to about 2.8, and relax the timings to 3-3-3-8, or 3-4-4-8. Both of these can be changed in the bios.

You failed math class didn't you?

2200 Mhz / 11 = 200 Mhz FSB... not 217

I wasn't replying to you, I was replying to the person who for some reason only god knows, assumed it was 217... you can't even get 2200 Mhz with a 217 Mhz bus
