Hello guys...

I`m having a problem with my Epox 8RDA motherboard. It simply can`t run any memories at their default speeds. What happens is that, for example, when I use my 256mb. DDR400 Elixir stick at its default settings (400, 8-3-3-3 @ 2,7V.) Windows XP wouldn`t even boot. At 333mhz. It`s a little bit more stable, but reboots in Windows are constant. It is only completely stable at 266mhz.
I`ve already tried a SpecTek 512mb. DDR333, but the problems are just the same. It isn`t, either a problem with the overclock on the CPU, because with the CPU at its defaults, the problems are the same.
I have the latest BIOS from the Epox website and my specs are:

Athlon XP 1700+@2100MHZ. (200X10,5)
ATI Radeon 8500 LELE@310/260
Quantum Plus AS 20gb.
CD Burner
DVD rom drive
Troni ATX 450w. Power Supply

Are these memory sticks incompatible with my MoBo?!

Thanks for any help...

Have you tried moving the memory around in different DIMM slots? I have a slot on my motherboard that my sticks of Crucial REFUSE to work in, but a DIMM with Hynix chips works perfectly in it. You may have a bad DIMM slot in general.

With both your CPU and RAM at stock speeds, try with different RAM sticks in different slots and see if you can reproduce the problems.
