Long story short, I bought VS512MB266 Corsair 512mb ValueRAM and it won't work. My mobo is an Intel D845EBG2 with 2 RAM slots for PC2100. The RAM is 2100. My current RAM is Kingston ValueSelect. I put the RAM in the second slot with my other RAM, and the system posts, shows 1024mb of RAM, and then reboots before Windows starts. This happens every time it gets to the Windows starting. I can get into BIOS, and it's recognized there as 1024mb.

Another thing, I tried just the Corsair RAM in slot 1 and I could not get a monitor picture.

Other specs

2.26ghz p4
aopen geforce4 mx440
80gb hd
512mb kingston valueram

Any other info needed I can give.

Thanks a ton

Well, sounds like it could be a bad stick. Get Memtest86 and run it to confirm the ram is bad. Memtest86 is a free-standing proggie you boot to, so you dont need to get into windoze to run it.
