I have some Corsair XMS 3200LLPT, timings=2326 in my ASUS K8V SE Dlx MB. When I try to load an OS on the system it locks up randomly. I replaced the memory with some Mushkin Value and it works fine. The memory worked great in my main system before I upgraded to 2GB. Is this memory just not compadible with my setup?

asus boards can be finicky about ram, corsair is not on asus approved vendor list for your motherboard, could also be an issue with number of chips on the dimm....read your manual for specifics or go to asus website for particulars since you didnt really give enough info for anyone here to help......

complete system specs would be helpful....also have you run any tests? memtest etc....

well you only have 2 options with the ram you have, run memtest 86 on the corsair ram and see if there are any errors, or put the mushkin back in and run with that...

Ok, I manually set the timings and voltage for the memory and moved the dimms to slots 1 and 3. I installed XP with no problems.
