Memory problem...PLEASE HELP

Hey All,

I just got my A7N8X installed with the barton 2500. I have hyper X pc3000, and I cannot get it to run at anything other than default speed. It will not even run SLOWER than default speed. The system will not post anything unless the memory is at 166(x2) which really isnt even default. PC3000 should be around 170 or 180, right? What gives???? Is it just poor memory? THanks!!!

In general, people would probably agree that its quality memory. Run Memtest86. Perhaps you just got a bad stick. NX8 owners could probably give further insight if you list your memory timings, and any particular changes you've made to the BIOS.
