Memory problem on Asus ROG G73JH??

When playing Dragon Age Origins, the keyboard will suddenly stop working. All keyboard commands in game don't work. However, the mouse controls do work and I can continue playing with just the mouse.(Which in DAO is not an option).
The only fix is to exit the game and restart the computer.

What else besides memory could be doing this? Or is it just a mem problem?

Sounds to me like you're hitting some sort of keyboard hotkey command through normal gameplay and the restart is turning it back off. Make sure stickykeys and all that other accessibility junk is completely disabled. Otherwise you might be making your ctrl or alt keys a toggle function which would make it seem like your keyboard isnt working.

Does your keyboard still show up in your device manager?

All is working fine now. I have no idea what caused it. I remember the same thing happening two years ago on another PC (Not laptop). I guess just one of the mysteries of technology. Thanks for your help...I will check and disable the "hot keys" just in case.
