Memory Problem - Asus P4P800

I currently have the Asus P4P800 mobo with two 512 mb ddr 400 pc3200 ram chips (kingston). I am trying to install a 3rd (same specs) but when I install and boot up I get a blue screen for a split second and the system restarts. Then it goes into the screen says that 'your computer did not statrt properly and it lists all the options (safe mode, command prompt, etc)...

What can be wrong?? Do I need to install these in pairs or something??
