According to Akiba Hotline, memory price is dropping in Akihabara, Tokyo. The US market usually follows the trend in after a copule of weeks. In fact, I started seeing a tip of it already here.

If you are consider buying memory chips, you might want to wait for a while.

Let's wait and see, but I would not buy any for at least the next couple of weeks.

I'm all for lower memory prices but they really aren't ALL that bad now. I remember paying $300.00 for an 8MB FPM 72-pin SIMM for my 486 about 5 years ago!

I actually suck big time at football pool. Last time I played, I did the worst amoung 15 people or so.

The latest from Tokyo is that the price of 128MB SDRAM hit below $7,000 yen mark (or about $65) which is the absolute lowest in the history. I personally think that it would not go any lower for the manufacturers to be profitable, but you never know.
