Also at that rez you´re definitely not going to be vram bottlenecked... even by using 8XAA

What processor are you running? It may just be your CPU bottlenecking you at that resolution

yeah just realized he was at only 1280x1024. I would rather gouge my eyes out then play modern games at that horrible 5:4 aspect ratio low res.
