I finally got an answer from MSI in case there are any other MS-6341 owners out there, here is their answer:

Dear Customer,



The chipset spec of the system board originally did not support ECC but MSI did make a bios update to have ECC Support.

You will not damage the system board by using ECC modules and you can continue using ECC modules for the system board.
