Memory on Abit BH-6 Help!!!

> Got 2pc's of PC133 128meg ram on my BH-6. With one slot left. I want to install another PC133 256 meg ram. But was told my Crucial that the BH-6 wouldn't recognize memory over 384meg's (3pc's 128meg)

1.Three 168-pin DIMM sockets support SDRAM module
2.Supports up to 384MB MAX. (8, 16, 32, 64, 128MB SDRAM)
3.ECC support

I have this board too and according to the BH6 Manual the maximum amount of ram is 768 MB (three 256MB sticks). Why the discrepancy?
