Does anyone knows what kind of memory are these cards using ? All reviews I've seen either say they are using 2Ghz Qimonda chips or don't say nothing at all. Does anyone knows if all brands are using this kind of memory ? Or even if there's some brand that is using it for sure ? Thanks.

The only 8800GT that I know of that's using different memory is the Zotac Water Cooled model and their 256MB card. Both use Samsung GDDR3. I would assume they'll be changing the 512MB cards as well.

Yes, saw those reviews before which is why I said that "I assumed the 512MB cards would be changing to Samsung". Also, If they are using Samsungs on the high-end watercooled card and the low-end 256 MB card, you'd think they would be switching over the standard 512MB cards as well. One of the articles I linked to implies this, but isn't clear if they're changing all models or not, so yes, as far as anyone knows the 512MB cards are still qimonda at the moment.
