memory oc?

[Duh]

sorry for this newbie question but:
can somebody give me an idea how far you can oc 100 Mhz sdram?
and if you can destroy it if you overclock to much?😱

it really depends on the memory you have

if you look at the ram chips, sometimes you can see how fast they are rated at.
(normal the last number on the string of numbers/letters ie PC100WSAU-7)

|8.5ns ram, is rated up to 117mhz |
|8ns ram, is rated to go to about 125mhz |
|7.5ns ram, is rated up to 133mhz |
|7ns ram, is rated up to 142mhz |
|6.5ns ram, is rated up to 154mhz |
