Does memory matter when overclocking? If so - why?

For example, what is diff b/w using a 3200 stick of DDR vs a 3500 stick of DDR when overclocking?

Right now I am using a crappy stick of 3200 Cas3 and I can run 200x11 @ 1.65Vcore. If I wanted to go higher, will memory limit how high I can go?

Also - I see people talking about how they are setting their memory and FSB 1:1 or something along those lines. What does this mean?

What do the memory timings tell me? What does 2-3-3-6 mean? What is a good timing?

I am getting new memory/more memory and need suggestions.

120 GB Maxtor

Yes memory does matter. Running at 200fsb is the default for pc3200, running pc3500 would give you more headroom to overclock. I have some OCZ pc3200 running at 230fsb, so it depends on the quality of the memory how high it will oc. Ruuning 1:1 means your running your memory at the full potiential of 200fsb.

So to run at 1:1 do I have to change any settings? Or does running at 200 FSB mean that I'm already running at 1:1?
