memory mixing & stability???

Would mixing memory (Pc100 & Pc133) cause stability problem? I got this feeling it did but I also switch to windows ME around the same time. By the way, my MB supports Pc100. The Pc133 is from crucial but not sure about the Pc100 but I would guess its crucial too since its a micronpc.

About the only problem you should have with stability is if the two sticks of RAM are not compatible with each other, but from what you are saying, I doubt that's the case. IMHO your problems are due to that POS microsoft likes to call Windows ME.

just my $0.02, but hope that helps some.

p.s. on an after thought, try using one stick of ram at a time and see what happens...it's possible you could have got a defective stick of ram.
