I've read Windows XP-64 no longer has a 4GB physical memory limit on it, does anyone know what the new limit will be?

" A 64-bit computer can address 16 exabytes of memory. (An exabyte is 1,000 petabytes, a petabyte is 1,000 terabytes and a terabyte is 1,000 gigabytes.) "

Yeah I wasnt sure if Microsoft was going to put a limit to the amount of memory that it would recognize, or if it would just allow you to put on as much memory as your mobo can handle. The reason I'm asking is I plan on doing some experimentation with a rather large ramdrive, and just dont want to be wasting money on memory that windows wont allow me to use anyway.

Note: my post says nothing about Window's maximum, but just practical maximums.

Exactly, just like MS has in the past, I'm sure they'll introduce some stupid self-imposed limits on the products just so you have to pay more for the versions that support more memory. But I doubt they'll cap the VM limit, just the physical memory limits.
