Something's weird with the NVMixer - it gives me an Insufficient resources message when accessing the network.
Here's what happens:
I open a video file stored on another PC, over the network; both are using WinXP Pro SP1a. The file plays just fine. But then I bring up NVMixer (which is running resident in the system tray). The playback stops, and Windows reports Insufficient System Resources. As long as NVMixer is open, I can't access the network to browse files. I can ping other systems, and I still have Internet access (broadband, over the network), but the Windows network doesn't work. Close NVMixer, and all's well.
Other errata - sometimes though I get graphic corruption in the NVMixer. The slider bars and buttons all turn black. This sort of thing has happened in the past, generally when I was using some buggy freeware app written in Visual Basic, though not always. Now I get it with the NVMixer.
The version of the program is 1.0.444.0. Anyone else ever encounter this? Might it be a conflict with some other program I've got running?
