Since I've "phased out" my Dell Poweredge 400SC as a desktop i've been using it as a server. I installed Windows 2003 STandard w/ SP1 but lately when I use any memory intensive apps (like QuickPar to rebuild RARs from PAR2s), it crashes into Blue Screen of Death and does a minidump before rebooting. Its getting annoying.
I have 4 identical strips of 512MB Crucial DDR RAM installed. I suspect it may be going bad? Is there a way to check? Do you think Crucial will cover it with their warranty if it is indeed bad RAM?
this probably doesn't mean anything, but its the detailed error
