Memory Identification

Is there a tool or a utility that might tell me what brand of memory may be running in my computer, along with speed, and timing?

The reason I am asking is because I bought a box of computer parts form a yard sale, and in it was a stick of memory with a mem-sink. The sticker on it says pc2700 512mb 333Mhz, but when I plug it into my motherboard it clocks to 266Mhz. When I take it out and reboot I get 333Mhz with my Kingston Hyper X.

When I plug it into my secondary system I still get 266Mhz, but this system only has pc2100 installed into it, where my Main system has pc2700.

Any info or ideas will be grateful.
