I got a couple AN35N-U and 2700+ retail CPU combos from outpost.com and now need to to complete it. I'll overclock as much as I can and still be able to keep them fairly quiet.

I'm trying to decide on 512MB or 1GB of PC3200 but it's a little difficult since if I wanna run in dual channel mode and want to have more memory later, I have to replace and get two more sticks instead of just adding more, correct? Or if I get 1GB now and want 2GB later. Is dual channel worth it? One PC is for me, the other will be for my parents. For mine I might go ahead and get 1GB, but the other is what I'm debating. My dad and I will play FS2004 and Nascar 4, and I/my brother/cousins might play some MOHAA, BF1942, CoD, etc. when we're there. We won't be playing Doom 3, at least not in the near future.

I've had good luck with Crucial and their support. Is there better RAM for around the same price? How about Mushkin? The Basic Green is a little less than Crucial; the Blue Line not too much more than Crucial. Note Newegg charges me tax .

Are there any CPU heatsink/fan's that won't fit on this board? I have a new in box Thermalright SLK-900(A or U) and Panaflo 90mm M1A (though I kinda wish I had a Zalman 7000) I guess I'll use on mine. Then either the retail 2700+ fan for the other PC, or swap the 2700+ retail fan with the Alpha 8045 thats on my Tbird 1.4 PC before I sell it.

Does re-applying (considering some barely have any) or upgrading (to AS5) the grease under the NB heatsink help on the AN35N-U?

Are there any tweaks that need to be done to correct any problems with it?
Any AGP/PCI lock glitches?

Any Geforce recommendations for the type of gaming I described?

If outpost dont charge you tax they have kingston cas 3 for 512MB for 55 shipped AR - could be a limit of one rebate per household. Then there is that kingston deal on ValueRam on the kingston site.
I have rebate fatigue so I got the Mushkin C2.5 from newegg. Corsair is about the same price. Thermalright should be fine - I looked it up on the thermalright site and the AN35N is listed as a compatible board. And on the same order I got the lower profile TR2-M2 HSF because I had not enuf room in this stupid soyo case for an SLK900 from svc.com

Will the Alpha 8045 fit the AN35N?
Will the AMD retail Tbred HSF fit on a Palomino?

Outpost doesn't charge me tax. Newegg does. I'm in TN.
Which Mushkin did you get? They make too many!
Kingston ValueRam isn't a good overclocker is it? What about reliability?
Is Corsair Value Select about the same stuff?

What's the best bang for the buck memory that can overclock some?

no idea. I'm traveling.

I would think so. The one I got would even work on a Barton.

CAS 2.5 Mushkin Green or CAS 2.5 Corsair Value Select were the best last week. Look here
OCZ is decent too.
