i dont plan on getting a new computer for a while so im wondering if 2x512 of pc4000 will work on an asrock p4v88 mobo. reason why is because im not a fan of oc'ing and im only going so far to oc the cpu to keep up with new whatever's coming, and im unable to oc the memory because i believe its locked the last time i checked, so is the multiplyer. it's either the kingmax, patriot, or geil brands because i cant afford to spend that much on my computer. so is this not going to work because the multiplier is locked, does that has something to do with the whole oc'ing process? its 200x15 right now. is the memory even compatible because its at a higher speed? or did i just totally waste my time because the memory just says its pc4000 because its capable of being oc'd up to that speed?am i better off with just a corsair vs and hope for the best? help please im no where up to date with computer stuff and i only know so much about them.
