I am looking for a stick of memory that will run 450DDR or greater with CAS settings 2-2-2-7 @ either default voltage or 2.6 volts. Anybody know if there is any memory that will run that fast? Short of the expensive Corsair stuff? My XMS PC3000 comes close, but does not cut it. :(

Thanks.

The Kington hyperX series comes closest to that. Its actually 433DDR, and runs CAS 2-3-3-7.

It could. Kingston makes excellent memory. As with any piece of memory, your result will vary based on the chips on that board.

Well it's worth a shot. My Corsair costed just under $200. For the same size stick @ googlegear of PC3500 HyperX its $122 shipped.

Thanks.

You might want to check outpost.com. They've got it (or did when I ordered at least) for $110 a stick. Just make sure to call to check availability. I've got two 512 sticks of it and with both sticks I get 440 @ 2 3 3 6. Only problem is it took 2.8v (in the bios, not sure of actual) to get there. I haven't tested them seperately to see if I've got one holding be back because my cpu won't go much higher so I don't really care. Also make sure to do a good burn in when you get them. I couldn't get crap out of these things til I let memtest run overnight.
