Memory heatsink purchase worthy?

I wanna know what can help OC my 2200 XP and people say a really nice fan and a pair of memory heatsinks for my dual ddr should help...are heatsinks worth it?

The heat spreaders are pretty much useless for DDR RAM. They're mostly for looks. A nice HSF for the CPU would be helpful though.

heat spreaders are bs. Mainly cosmetic. Get a nice hs for the cpu

They sure are shiny....other than that, save your $$ for a new game.

Actually, some budget ram heatspreaders may cause more damage from heat than just leaving your ram uncovered. Those thermal tapes are pretty thick and can actually cause more heat buildup than leaving it be.
