Hi all,
first post here,
hope you all can see my config in the sig.
the problem is that i updated the BIOS to the latest version with the help of WinFlash and since then the RAM modules have been underclocked..
I dont know a thing about over/under clocking but this was just something that i noticed before and after upgrading..
Can you people plz help me in getting them work again at the original frequencies
they were DDR2 running @ 800 MHz ~ but now in CPU-Z and PCWizard 2008 they are reported to be running @ 399 MHz..
Plz tell me what all i need to tell you people to make you know more about the system
Thanks a ton
Regards

1st off, do NOT update bios unless it fixes an issue you're experiencing. Bad flash can render a mobo useless.

2nd, before & after update, clear cmos & load defaults in bios. Lastly, set up bios.

By default, your ram should be at 666.5mhz unless you make change to bios. What are your bios settings for memory & FSB?

you know, if you read the FAQ, it saves time. DDR2 runs at a frequency x 2. So 399mhz x 2 is 798mhz, which is about DDR2-800.

You're looking at the wrong tab. Click Memory tab. It should be 400mhz x 2 = 800mhz.
