Ive had this computer for a year or so, but just thought this looked strange today for some reason.

When I boot up, while its at the first bios screen it says Memory Frequency 133mhz...

This is the memory I have....
DDRAM 512MB|PC-3200 DDR400 -SAMSUNG

Is that right?

Heres my processor and mobo incase ya need to know it...
CPU AMD|2400 /266 ATHLON XP TBRED
ASUS MB NFORCE2 A7N8X-UAY

(copyed from newegg)

well, as long as it's reading your cpu at its max speed, then there's no problem. the xp2400 is a 266fsb chip which is 133 both ways. sounds like it's fine.

load up windows and go to system under control panel, or right click my comp and properties. should tell you there what it's reading the speed at.

then you don't have a problem my good sir. the 133 it's reading is just the fsb of the cpu. it's 133/266. have fun 😀
