Memory for the Asus P4C800-E Deluxe

Hi, sorry about the noob question but i just wasnt sure about it...

I was thinking of getting this board and wasnt sure if i NEEDED to get 2 sticks of ram in order for the mobo to work. Or can i just get 1 stick of ram?

1 stick will work just fine.

One stick will work. But, only in single channel mode!
If you want dual channel mode, you will need two preferrably identical sticks. Look at the compatibility list on the ASUS site.

If you have just 1 stick in the blue or dual channel will it cause random reboots? Or just memory errors?
