I bought a stick of Dane-Elec from mwave for my t40 and it causes it to freeze. Whats the best memory for the t40 (looking for 256 stick) that is a good price?

I bought a 256 MB DDR soDIMM from Dell, certified for use in the D600 series laptops. It works great in my T40. I ran Prime on it for 24 hrs and made it loop through 3DMark 2001 a zillion times, and no crashing at all.

The Dell soDIMM uses micron technology chips.

I picked up a pair of 512MB Kingmax PC2100 ddr sodimms @ 111.00 shipped ea. from newegg since they had a lifetime warranty compared to the 10yr warranty from Dane Elec. The will be going in my D800 once it arrives, and I'll post my results after I test them out with memtest86 and prime95 for a few days. I was going to get memory from Crucial, but it was $20.00 more per module and they charged tax.
