Memory for Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS

does PNY memory work with M5A78L-M LX PLUS board? I don't see PNY listed at all on the asus site for this board.

the memory I am planning is PNY MD8192KD3-1333.

Also I read in some places that PNY works well only with Intel processors and not with AMD?

The memory is compatible and it should work. Moreover, brands does not matter as long as the specs are okay. Personally, I have not encountered about the issue with the processors so far. So I would suggest you to go with Corsair, Kingston, Samsung brands. Even they have the same price.

I just put some ECC Crucial memory that's not on the list into that exact boards and it works just peachy.

It has been more than a decade and a half since I have worried about brand (as long as it was a real brand).
