I just started buying parts for my next system last week (halfway there).

My current parts:
-Intel Core i7 860 (2.8GHz)
-XFX ATI 5870 1GB
-Antec P183
-WD 1TB Caviar Black (64MB cache, 7200RPM)

I've basically decided on getting an Asus P7P55D-E LX (Haven't ordered yet, but that's not up for argument in this post). However, I'm having trouble deciding on a good set of memory. I'm worried about whether my memory choice will compatible with the board, will run at rated specs (which I hear sometime are for OC only?), and will not cause cold boot problems if possible. The primary use of this computer will be for gaming.

I'm looking to get 8GB, but I may try out a set of 2x2GB first to make sure it's compatible with it. Have any of you used this board and can recommend some good 1600 MHz low latency (pref C7) memory?

Here's the current lineup of choices I've gathered (Looking in the $100-$130 range per 4GB pair):

G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM

G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH

Mushkin Enhanced Ridgeback DDR3 (PC3 12800, C6) 996826

None of those are on the QVL for the Asus board, which is why I come here to ask since the ones on their list don't look great (and seem to run underclocked, or don't support 8GB).

Any help is much appreciated!

I`m a Mushkin fan myself, but I found that my Blacklines can`t run at 1600mhz at stock timings, I have them clocked down quite a bit. Not that I care, I`m looking for stability in this rig.
