I'm looking for people to help me spend my money. I've got an Abit KN9 Ultra Motherboard, and I've recently returned 2 of these since they seemed to be incompatible with my motherboard (I've tried it using this and the dreaded Asus M2N-E and they had problems in both, and I've tried loads of stuff, had an engineer out, etc etc. Suffice to say I want to try some different memory). Anyway, I've now got about £110 credit at this store, so I was wondering if someone else could help me pick out some memory that will work with my system. I'm not sure what to look for, because from what I know, the memory I had in the first place should've worked. The Abit website has a list of compatible memory that they have tested, but surely that can't be the only compatible memory?
I'm looking at getting 2GB of any of the following, but I'm not sure whether any of them are compatible since none of them are on that list:
OCZ
Geil
OCZ
Geil
OCZ

Samsung
I'm not looking to overclock or anything like that, but I'd like it to be as fast as it can be in it's stock settings, obviously. But simply being able to install my OS would be a luxury at the moment.
Here's the rest of my system:
Abit KN9 Ultra Motherboard
AMD 64X2 4200+ Processor
Asus EN7300GS Graphics
2xSamsung SP120 250GB SATA2 Hard Drives
Samsung DVD Rom
Samsung DVD-RW
Antec Truepower II 480W PSU
Windows XP Pro x64 Edition
If anyone could help me choose something that'd work, it'd be a great help.
