People I know don't like them and say they're HOT during summer months. Check out Sleep Number beds. I plan on buying one myself.

I passed on one when the salesperson told me they tended to be hot. I got the sleep number bed, overpriced as hell, but I sleep ok.

I recommend getting a good traditional mattress/boxspring combo - then getting a memory foam topper (2-3 inch) that you can remove if it gets too hot in the summer. Overstock.com has some pretty good deals on toppers (2 inch is around $80 I think - for ALL sizes!). I bought 1.25" inch thick ones for use in my POPUP CAMPER
and it makes sleeping in it a dream!

My wife liked them in the camper so much that she wanted some for the house too!

Most lucrative product evar. Sell a $.20 peice of foam for $400. Amazing! Normal foam pads are the shizznit though. Get a 1" pad for $15, through 'er on the floor and watch your back problems float out the window while you sleep.
