Memory foam for the poor!

Okay we have all read the 17 page memory foam thread created by Altrac, but lately everyone has been getting rich on that thread. Altrac has no problem buying a pillow a week and half the guys are paying $600 for their bed. This thread is meant for the poor, by the poor.
Keep the prices low, notice the "Hot Deals" forum name?
I have no experience with this material and Altrac's thread has taught me allot but I can't find anything I can afford so I wanted to share a few potential deals with everyone here:

This site has matress pads which are 2.5" thick and come in 2.5 lb density:
Boscovs
Some people have been complaining about the color (which is tan) and the fact that the quality isn't as good as it used to be.
had a deal like this but they were half as thick, although people seemed to like them and ran them out of stock. Smartbargains however still has 2 good pillow deals. SmartBargains

i'm not sure about the specs of the costco memory foam pillows, but they're ~$25 each. my dad got one. pretty good deal to me.

found the linky:

That looks good, thanks for the post. I think this is a better deal than the smart bargains one if anyone can verify the quality of the two pillows please do so.
From what I hear the Boscovs mattress pads have gone way down in quality and not too many people are satisfied with their effectiveness.

I have had the costco pillow for about two months and i love it. It is a little on the hard side, but my back has felt amazingly good every morning since i started using it. I have tried it on a few different types of beds as well, some hard some soft, and even on a soft bed which usually kills my back it feels fine in the morning. I think it may also stop me from rolling around as much, as it stays in place much better than a normal pillow. i could imagine a better pillow, and i have felt a few that were a little softer, but most were twice the price. It is worth a try for $25.

Absolutely Awesome pillow for $26.64 at your local Sam's Club. I love this pillow. It goes with me everywhere. It's got a goosedown cover so you get the best of both worlds.

If anyone needs the mold, mildew, and/or algae protection, you need to start washing those sheets more often. Yech.

Hey Bud, your link has your info in it.
I removed it from the quote.

*EDIT* N/M It looks like the session expired.

Thanks for the link tho', I'm gonna try one of these. I had already tried one of the pillows from costco, I found it to be too hard for my liking.

Actually, according to an expose I saw a while back, it is incredibly common to have stuff growing in your mattress and pillow, and often it aggrevates certain allergies.

Sam's doesn't put in enough info on a regular basis. I have this pillow and the Isotonic from BBB. This pillow is firmer and thicker. The goose down isn't real apparent whrn you use it. The pillow's thickness and firmness are a little too much most of the time for side sleeping. If the isotonic was this thick or this pillow was as thin as the Isotonic I'd be happier. I make do with the Isotonic and a down pillow underneath sometimes. This one helps me type, i.e., I sit on it.It really is too soft for that and compresses way too much but for my head it's too thick and doesn't compress enough. Maybe I'm too light headed.

or big butted:music:. My ideal pillow awaits. A thicker Isotonic or a thinner one of these.

The best deal is at Steinmart. I just bought 2 comfortzone pillow by carpenter company for $19.99 each. They also have the perfect pillow for $29.99. Unfortunaly Steinmart doesn't do online orders as I know of so if you have one near you GOODLUCK!

On ebay there are some great sellers who are selling bulk versions of the Tempurpedic pillows they are Tempurpedic pillows but some with and some without the velor cover....I bought a pillow for my aunt for $30 without cover...its a great pillow, just like my coverd tempurpedic.....well i think its a great deal...

Ok, I just spent my first night on the pillow and it's for the most part very worth it. The only thing that is slightly different from the actual tempur-pedic is that it isn't as soft as them. I tried the tempur-pedic mattresses for the first time and they seem really good too but hey I dont't have 1500 to blow on a bed.
So far I reccommend the pillow highly. The quality is top-notch and the covers are really amazing, not cheap and towely.
