wow, these are the worst laptop's I've had to deal with.
I'm supposed to fix one for a customer, decided to put win2k on it rather than the POS windows millenium that was on there...
After many hours of having windows 2k tell me the bios wasn't ACPI compatible, 2 bios updates later, it still has the same problem. It locks up an incredibly lot of times.
I just re-installed, and it wont even fully install, I always have to keep going back to the setup.
From all the physical memory dump problems it has (always memory errors) I'm guessing it's got horribly bad memory in it, but I can't test that, because hey, guess what, it doesn't have a floppy drive!
Nero lets you create a boot cd, and I've used it a couple of times but man, this thing just is the devil.
