We have been getting error messages similar to the below on our workstations for about 6 to 8 weeks now.
Does anyone know the cause and resolution to this problem ?
We thought it had something to do with the Symantec Antivirus software we are running, but after making adjustments to that, these errors are still occuring occasionally on multiple workstations.
Is there a possibility that this is a memory sharing/conflict issued between applications and/or the operating system ? Operating system is Win2000 on some stations and WinXP on others.
I got the one below today, when I inserted a CD in the drive even before the application on the CD autostarted. It was a tax program CD.
Thanks.
The instruction at "0x7c5822ad" referenced memory at "0x00411004". The memory
could not be "read".
