My son has been using his system for over a year without issue until a few weeks back.
(The system isn't overclocked. Stock clocks for all.)
He started complaining about random reboots, which I assumed was due to him installing crap software.
I did a complete re-install of Windows for him last night, and while doing the finalizing install, the machine rebooted on me.
I got Windows installed, and put Prime95 and Furmark on it. After about 20 minutes, Prime95 had an error in one of the processes.
Furmark never had an issue.
I installed memtest86 and let it run overnight, and came back to what I think is a memory error.
a) is this a memory error?
b) dumb question but, can I be relatively certain that a memory error is directly equating to a memory stick error?
