I have a quad core gateway PC running on Vista. Couple days ago, I got a blue screen of death saying there was an error and the memory was being dumped.

I restarted the PC fine with no problems. Then the next day, my PC powers on, and I hear the fan start, but no signal being sent to the screen. I turned it back off, then started it back up an hour later, it worked fine.

Now when I power up my PC, it shows no signal to the monitor and I don't hear the processor working at all. What could be th issue? My memory mess up? Processor? I've never seen this before.

Is the computer under warranty? If so, contact Gateway and get them to fix it for you.
