Memory Dual channel config question.

Hello,
I currently have a P7P55D-E LX motherboard and wanted to add more ram. It has 2 sticks of DRR3 1600 2x4GB Corsair Ram and just bought some G.Skill DDR3 1600 2x4GB ram online.
For the dual channel configuration to work properly should I keep the matching brands in the same channel or put matching brands in separate channels?
I'm not sure if I asked that question right...wish I could draw a picture.

Ok so left to right according to my manual my slot layout is;

DIMM A2 | DIMM A1 | DIMM B2 | DIMM B1

Right now I have the Corsair Ram in DIMM A1 and DIMM B1 slots.

When I receive the new ram can I simply place the ram into DIMM A2 and DIMM B2 slots? Should I switch them around so both Corsair ram is in DIMM A1 and A2 spots and GSkill ram is in DIMM B1 and B2 spots?

I apologize about the confusing question, I'm sure there is another way to ask this but this is the best way I could explain.

Thank you!

Based on the manual, you want the matching pairs to be in the X1 slots for the first set and then the x2 slots for the 2nd pair

so your current ram should be in the A1 and B1 slots and then the 2nd kit should be in A2 and B2
