memory divider help

I can't lower the memclock in my bios for some reason. The only options availible are 200, 266, 333, and 400 mhz. Is there something i'm missing here? I thought you could only LOWER the divider, not raise it. I need to lower it to 166 or something for my overclock.

Is the memclock the same as the memory divider? Thats the only adjustable ram option other than voltage i can find in my bios. Anyone else with a ASUS K8N mobo know where the mem divider is?

Yes, Mem Clock is the same as Mem Divider.

Your mobo is referencing full duplex speeds, so:

400 = 200 = 1/1
333 = 166 = 5/6
266 = 133 = 2/3
200 = 100 = 1/2

yes. here is a chart on dividers. the divider works with the multi, as you can see from the chart.

your motherboard is a little different from others that would say 166 instead of 333
