"Memory could not be read" errors

My computer:
DFI Infinity mobo
2500m (200x11 only)
512 Kingston HyperX pc4000
Seagate 120gig SATA (NTFS)
WinXPPro, SP2

This is weird. I have two partitions on my hard drive, my D: partition holds all the stuff I want to keep (ISO's, MP3's, DivX movies, etc). Whenever I go into certain directories, let's say my d:\video\movies directory explorer crashes everytime. I get the following to error windows popping up: error1 and an Application error stating something about "The instruction at "0x000000000" referenced memory at "0x0000000000" the memory could not be "read".

I've tried sticking other ram in here, get the same problem, and actually, if I copy the entire directory onto a different computer it does the same thing there.
Any ideas of what might cause this?
