Memory confusion.

I've been doing this a long time and it still ocasionally confuses me. I was looking to buy some memory and came across some Mushkin PC3200. I found 2 different models from Mushkin that fits my needs, one is Mushkin Green and the other is Mushkin Enhanced. Spec wise, the 2 are identicle: 2X1GB, DDR3200, 3-3-3-8, 2.5V-2.7V. Mushkin Green is $149 while the Enhanced is $201. If I am not mistaken, these are both considered the "value" line of Mushkin RAM. I'm thinking I should save myself $52 and get the Mushkin Green. Whant do you think?

There are lots of variables to consider.

For starters, see what type of ram is recommended by your mobo company.

Different types of modules may come on the different models from Mushkin.
You may discover that one is TCCD and another is something else. Affects power requirements, heat generation, how you'll set bios, etc.

Also, the condition of one or other might be UTT (means it's untested, no quality control, roll of the dice) while other is carefully speed binned (means quality control, tested & sorted based on proven performance).

I had some Mushkin reldine UTT that wouldn't pass MEmtest86, had to rma it.
