need some thoughts...Just bought a T-Bird 1.13, Abit kt7a MB and want to know if I should buy a generic 512 pc 133 chip or not...... help please!
 
It doesn't really matter whether you buy Generic RAM or from Crucial/Mushkin etc. I've a mix of Generic and brand RAM in my systems and it works fine. Generic RAM is usually a few bucks cheaper, but it's up to you whether you think that the possible loss in quality is worth saving a few bucks.
 
Thanks a bunch. That's all I thought would be the difference, the quality that is... I just didn't know if it'd fry anything or not.
