Hi,
I just want to share my results working with Samsung Sticks.
I'm running a 2.4 C1 on a Asus P4PE.
Was using 2 sticks of 256 DDR333 on two setups :
- @160 FSB and DDR400 for overal speed results;
- @172 FSB and DDR344 for RAW cpu speed when needed.
Now changed the dimms with two Samsung DDR400 CL3 and working now on :
- @165 FSB and DDR440.
Sandra went from 30xx to 32xx in memory score, and PCMark shown also a good 9% increase.
Systems feels fasters, and respondes quicker... and that's the goal for all this mess 😉
Going to try to head up a little more with some more juyce on the cpu and change CAS from 3 to 2.5 to see how it
affect stability system and higher scores overall.
Also, waiting for a better cooler.
